Metal 2

I worked on this until my laptop could no longer process all the guitar plugins and play back in the DAW without sounding like an angry robot bear trying to calculate the square root of an orgasm. I like metal, but unfortunately my guitar plugins are too processor intensive for my machine. I'll have to do something about that.

I'm especially pleased with these two percussion plugins. So far I've used them in almost everything. With just these two, I can make most of the drum and cymbal sounds I want.

Double Harmonic (Arabic) guitar fragments with Reverb

These are conceptual fragments of what may become a complete song as I practice what is my new favorite scale, the double harmonic scale, or 5th mode of Hungarian Minor. It's the scale used in Misirlou, which I was practicing when I came up with these. The first is an intro melody and the second a verse/chorus riff for a surf song. Behringer is a German company that makes audio gear. Their $10 headphones aren't very good though.
