Spittin' Sick on deez Leet BEETZ October 2020

I remade a few of my older and stupider rap songs because I actually know how to mix for shit now and the originals sounded awful, and I made a new song. I think all of these turned out well. These tracks contain language that assholes will find offensive. July and August

I made jack shit in July and August, and due to being out of practice what I did make is not excellently mixed, but I consider it listenable. Here are one track from each month. July: August:

I took Davie504's recent challenge and made this song and music video. Here are both.

Sunvox BEET

Image
I am currently prototyping a synth module that will run on a Raspberry Pi Zero, take midi input, and generate sounds with the synth and sequencing app Sunvox. Here's my second beat made using Sunvox in video and audio.

Double Harmonic (Arabic) guitar fragments with Reverb

These are conceptual fragments of what may become a complete song as I practice what is my new favorite scale, the double harmonic scale, or 5th mode of Hungarian Minor. It's the scale used in Misirlou, which I was practicing when I came up with these. The first is an intro melody and the second a verse/chorus riff for a surf song. These are the first recordings made with my Behringer U-Phoria UM2 audio interface. For the cheapest audio interface on Amazon, I think it sounds decent. Behringer is a German company that makes audio gear. Their $10 headphones aren't very good though. Of note is the fact that while Behringer claims this device is plug-and-play, you do in fact have to download a driver from an unadvertised, unlinked page on their site, the link to which I found on a forum, or the device will not work. However, after doing so, even with the zero-latency switch off, this device has almost no latency. I got it for less than $30 on sale, but I think it's closer to

How Come Yo' Momma Like To Suck Mah Nuttz?

That's the long title for this song. I learned how to use a vocoder from this project. It's really stupid and incredible.

First Two Weeks of May

I made these four tracks in the first fourteen days of May 2020. One has two versions mixed on headphones and speakers respectively. They each sound way crappier using the other type of output. I don't know what they'll sound like on whatever you use so I uploaded them both. It's important to ride your volume knob when switching between my tracks because their peaks range from -6dB to -1.5dB upon export. I have not decided on an absolute standard. Also some sounds just sound louder even when they're quite, like saw waves. VIPs know what I mean.
